Paralyzed Pokmon have a 25 chance of not being able to attack, and their Speed is decreased by 50 (75 in Generations 1-6 ). It has no base power (as it isnt a damaging attack), 30 PP, and 75 Accuracy. Stun Spore paralyzes the target, if it hits. i'm still kinda new with the whole nature and EV's and i'm not familiar with all of the moves in the game, nevermind all nearly 400 pokemon. Stun Spore is a Grass-type move introduced in Generation I that causes the Paralysis status effect. I just started on FR and LG so if i appear like a noob it's because i kinda am, eventhough i mastered RBY. butterfree is probably not the best of pokemon, but i think with the right movesets he can be at least decent. Absol can get Mean Look as an Egg Move from Umbreon, can learn False Swipe from TM, and can learn Thunder Wave from a TM. for one reason or another most people probably leave him in the storage after they capture some rares/legendary/OU but who can blame them. There are 2 Pokémon that can learn that combination of moves via TM and breeding. The user targets all adjacent enemy Pokmon and inflicts paralysis on.

we're talking full evolution and confusion at level 10. In Red Rescue Team, Blue Rescue Team, Stun Spore is a move with 17 PP and 100 accuracy. I don't think many people use butterfree probably because of its crappy stats, but i've always been quite fond of it because he's easy to raise and he appears at the beginning of games and evolves early and gives you instant offense when you're starting a new game.
